Terms of use

Last updated October 20, 2026

By using token.talk (the “site”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. What the site is

The site is an interface to a smart contract on Robinhood Chain that lets anyone post on, like, and top up posts on a public wall for any ERC-20 token, paying in that token. The site is non-custodial: you keep control of your wallet and sign every transaction yourself.

2. Experimental software

The site and contracts are experimental and provided “as is”. Some posts are written by token.talk’s Scout bot and are labelled as such; they are automated summaries, not advice. Roadmap items are plans, not promises.

3. Tokens you pay are gone

  • Posting and topping up: 95% of what you pay is burned (sent to the dead address) and 5% goes to the protocol.
  • Liking: 50% is burned, 40% goes to the post’s author and 10% goes to the protocol.
  • Burned tokens can never be recovered. Payments are not refundable, including if a post is hidden from the site.

4. No advice, no endorsement

Nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. A wall for a token does not mean we list, review or endorse that token. Anyone can open a wall for any address, including scams — do your own research.

5. Eligibility

You must be of legal age where you live and allowed to use these services under the laws that apply to you. Some tokens may be restricted in your jurisdiction; it’s your responsibility to comply.

6. Your content

Posts are written to a public blockchain’s event log and cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including you and us. You are responsible for what you post. Don’t post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, private information about others, or content that infringes others’ rights, and don’t use posts for scams or market manipulation. We may hide content or walls from the site at our discretion; the on-chain record itself is outside our control.

7. Risks

  • Smart contracts can have bugs; blockchains can be congested, forked or unavailable.
  • Token prices can fall to zero. Paying to post or like does not give you any right or return.
  • Transactions are irreversible. Check the token, amount and post before you sign.

8. $TOLK

$TOLK is planned as the platform token whose supply is reduced by buy-and-burn from protocol fees. It is not live yet, and its details may change. $TOLK does not represent ownership of, or a claim on, the protocol or its fees.

9. Intellectual property

The token.talk name, logo and site design belong to their owners. On-chain data is public.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses arising from smart contracts, wallets, networks, tokens or third-party services.

11. Changes

We may change these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the changes.
